A Church Without Walls
The Greek term ecclesia found in the New Testament means a gathering or assembly of people.  This term is often translated in English as church.  Through the years the word church became synonymous with a building or a destination.  We have a vision of the church to once again become the center of community – this is to recognize that the church isn’t a building, it’s a movement of God thorough the people of God.  Whether gathering at our Duxbury campus, working within our vocations, traveling overseas, or serving in the community, we the people of God are the church wherever we go.  It is our desire to be the church by building relationships in the community that lead people to Jesus.
All are welcome here at Duxbury Church. We look forward to connecting with you soon.

Sermon – STICKS and stones
Sticks & Stone (7.21.19)

Speaker: Pastor Tim Bresnahan

Date:  July 21, 2019

Do you believe God loves you, or is God, at best, a taskmaster? Well in this sermon from Proverbs 4, Pastor Tim Bresnahan helps us reflect not only on God’s love, but on his word, and it’s teaching on His love. And here is the glorious truth (spoiler alert) it is never too soon or too late, as none of us are too far gone in our lives, in what we have done in our life not to experience God’s love and forgiveness.
